You might have seen some turf that comes rolled up in lengths but Daleys Turf comes cut in flat slabs. Which might have led you to ask why?
Our signature turf is Sir Walter DNA Certified and while this turf is perfect for the South East Queensland climate, it does take longer to grow; 12 months to other varieties 6 months, so we want to make sure that after all that time and effort it has the very best chance to establish and thrive once installed at your place.
By cutting into 45mm thick slabs and delivering the turf packed flat we give you the healthiest lawn available.
Flat slabs have the added benefits of:
- Less risk of turf loss
- Will survive better in both extreme heat and extreme cold
- Less watering to establish
- A strong and solid slab that doesn’t fall apart
- A complete, healthy root profile
- And by being evenly cut and neat, flat turf when laid will sit flatter, require less rolling and will look like a fully established lawn more quickly.

Our turf is available per square metre and you can either pick up from the turf farm or we can arrange delivery (and installation if you need help with that too). While our turf can be installed year round we do suggest avoiding times of extreme heat, so typically December and January. Also, if you want a lovely new and established lawn in time for Christmas then now is the right time to order and install your new turf.
Delivery fee: $110.00 (Sunshine Coast only). This includes Hinterland areas, Caboolture to Cooroy, Maleny to the Coast.
