It’s been a busy time at Daley’s Turf. We recently undertook a huge turf project at Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast - through rain, humidity and damaging storms. In fact, according to the Local Disaster Co-ordinator, Fox Rogers the rainfall exceeded all previous records for hourly and three-hourly rainfall totals. That’s a lot of rain!

Lawn Grub Season is Here - Now

Lawn grub season is upon us. This lawn problem is particularly felt on the Sunshine Coast and throughout the South-East in the wetter, warmer months of November to May. While types of Kikuyu and Couch lawns are particularly prone to lawn grubs, Buffalo grasses such as Sir Walter suffer to a lesser extent. If you buy turf on the Sunshine Coast you need to know how to identify an infestation and what to do if you have one.
